redhat 7.2 rpm problem

I have installed redhat 7.2 (server and coustom option) but I have found that rpm command is not working so I dont have any idea to how to enable it ! please suggest something Thanks __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? finding old unused email accounts

Hi! rndc: connect: connection refused

i have started named/dns with /etc/rc.d/init.d/named start however when i give /etc/rc.d/init.d/named status it gives rndc: connect: connection refused why so?
