Opening fyjc.org.in in Firefox - Successfully

Hi folks, While going through that Red Hat License discussion, I had completely forgotten that there was a thread regarding FYJC being restricted to IE Users (how mean of them!) Here's the solution to open it in Firefox. Its called User Agent Switch (I didnt get chance to real complete thread, so may be some one would have already suggested this solution, if not then please read further :) In Firefox click Toold > Add ons Search for "User Agent Switch" Install the addon Restart FireFox Click Tools > Default User Agent > Internet Explorer > Select version Do not restart FireFox Type the url http://www.fyjc.org.in in Address field Bingo, this works :) Bye Regards

Bugzilla issue tracking of foss india

Based on these explainations: ========================================================================================================================== Now that we've cleared that up, here is a simplified (IMHO) explanation of what everybody already said: RHEL == Linux Kernel + GPL/BSD/MIT ...etc licensed Software + Red Hat trademarks (artwork etc) - How must does the RHEL distro cost ? * 0/- - How does Red Hat make money, if the cost of the RHEL distro is 0 ? * Subscriptions, trainings, consultancy ...and maybe more. - How is the RHEL distro. distrubuted ? * The sources are available for free on redhat.com and Red Hat provides CDs/DVDs of the distro. to it's customers (people who buy subscriptions or undertake trainings ...etc) ================================================================================================================= Can somebody explain the following clauses in Red Hat License Agreement? http://www.redhat.com/licenses/rhel_us_3.html 5 Reporting and Inspection 5.1 Reporting. Client will promptly notify Red Hat if the number of Installed Systems exceeds the number of Installed Systems for which Client has paid the applicable fee. In its notice, Client will include both the number of additional Installed Systems and the date(s) on which such Installed Systems were put into use. Red Hat will invoice Client for the applicable Services for such Installed Systems on a pro-rata basis and Client will pay for such Services in accordance with this Agreement. 5.2 Inspection. During the term of this Agreement and for one (1) year thereafter, Red Hat or its designated agent may inspect and review Client's facilities and records in order to verify Client's compliance with this Agreement. Any such inspection and review will take place only during Client's normal business hours and upon no less than ten (10) days prior written notice from Red Hat. Red Hat will give Client written notice of any non-compliance, including the number of underreported Installed Systems, and Client will have fifteen (15) days from the date of such notice to make payment to Red Hat for the applicable Services provided to the underreported Installed Systems. If Client had underreported the number of Installed Systems by more than five percent (5%), Client will also pay Red Hat for the cost of such inspection.

zte wireless data terminal installation and configuration in ubuntu

BSNL punjab circle has recently introduced a scheme where they are giving broadband speed of around 2.4 Mbps at unlimited download for just Rs 550 per month thru a wireless CDMA data card made by ZTE china. The wireless card can be purchased for Rs 4200 and the data connectivity is limited to just the punjab telecom circle. This scheme has not been publicised and has been in operation for the last 3-4 months. I came to know about it by chance thru word of mouth and the demand is very high but supply very less. The problem is that i haven't been able to install it using wine etc in ubuntu 9.04 with the installation CD Can anybody help if they have installed/configured the same in ubuntu 9.04 etc? Kussh

Linux + LDAP + Terminal Server

Hi Guys, i want create multiple profile on a single linux machine(server class) so that multiple users can access the it (GUI ) from their client machines. Server OS is CentOS 5.3 For centralize authentication i am using Fedora directory Services I also have FreeNX server installed on the Linux Server and FreeNX client on the windows machines. (for terminal server like functionality) https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FreeNX while goggling i got the the below article for creating multiple profile in linux http://www.linux.com/archive/feature/114319 Now the situation is that my FreeNX client is not able to authenticate via my Ldap/FDS Server. Could someone suggest some better idea for achieving this. Best Regards H
