Mumbai Visit from London

Hi, I'll be in Mumbai Sunday morning this week through to Tuesday morning on my trip from London and was wondering if any Linux users wanted to meet up. I run the London Linux user group over in the UK and it would be interesting to see how Linux is doing over in India. Any takers? Or are there any computer related events happening whilst I'm over? [ILUG-BOM] Unable to receive mails using qmail with Mailbox type delivery

Hi, I have installed the qmail 1.03 successfully. I checked the services using the command >>qmailctl stat which gives me the following >>service/qmail-send: up (pid 30646) 2555 seconds >>/service/qmail-send/log: up (pid 30649) 2555 seconds >>/service/qmail-smtpd: up (pid 30653) 2555 seconds >>/service/qmail-smtpd/log: up (pid 30655) 2555 seconds >>messages in queue: 2 >>messages in queue but not yet preprocessed: 0 I am testing the installation for sending and receiving mails locally. I have read the instructions in TEST.receive and tried to do accordingly, but I could not receive the mails in any of the users Mailbox. Can anybody tell me how should i troubleshoot this glitch? Also tell me how can I correctly create the Mailboxes to avoid any delivery problem? Thansk in advance. -- ASHWIN S. I have installed Mozilla 1.4. It works well with offline html files . But whenever i enter any url it downloads the page for a while and then hangs........ Please Help.........

The additional parameters to the kernel bootline video=intelfb:800x600-32@85,accel=1,hwcursor=1 where 32 is the bpp, 85 is freq. *Please note that this is not documented as the driver is still in experimental stage.* I got the params from the source. probably the same would go in 2.6 too. Name resolution speedup

Hi, Well I am student and my college provides us with a lease line connection for the internet . The problem is that we use DNS provided by the BSNL . Thus whenever I have to resolve for a site it take lot's of time . Thus I would like to setup a small dNS server on my machine so that all the lookups I have done so far are cached and I don't need to go up to BSNL DNS . Is there anyway I can do it if yes Pls point me to such a location on the net .I have read DNS howto but couldn't understand much out of it . bye Tushar
