If we sit and ``Live with it" nothing will ever change. If we want a better
society, we HAVE to make it very clear what is NOT the way to go. Call me a
naive idealist if you want, but if i see something that i don't agree with
i'll make it a point to say it.
It may be a ``fact of life" now, but if we don't do anything to change it,
it will remain so. Not opposing something that is evil is not the same as
supporting evil, but it indirectly contributes to evil persisting.
Take a simple case,
You have company and advertize for jobs, you INSIST on ODT or any open
standard for accepting resumes. Then come what may people(including
placement agencies) WILL use that format to send a resume to you. Who know's
in the process they ``might" just have a moment of clarity in which they'll
realize that there's more that just what's followed.
And that is the 1st step.
