Aha. Tally refuses to support older versions, without paying for all
the upgrades. So dont wait for Tally to shutdown to get screwed.
You are already screwed.

What ever gave you the idea that free and open databases are not
tried and tested. Postgres (renamed firebird db ) and Mysql are
perhaps tested more than all the others and on wildly varying load
and hardware conditions, and the formerly closed databases Ingress,
SAP, and many others are also available under the gpl.

It should only import data. I think most CAs are smart enough to see
and learn a better alternative in a matter of hours. And all of them
are sick to death of the windows disease.
