CD Writer Search + Epson Printer

Hello! I am planning to buy an *IDE* CD Writer - that works on Linux. I did some homework - saw the XCDRoast page and the ILUG archives for past queries. Well, making changes to fstab and lilo are OK with me but installing modules is something I haven't done. Could someone suggest a readily available (in Bombay) IDE CD Writer that is *known* to work well under Linux? Please add tips - they'll certainly help :). Another request - has anyone got An Epson Stylus Color 480 Printer working on any distribution / version of linux? Please tell me which one and how. Hi I am having problems while upgrading to sendmail-8.12.2-1. When i am run rpm -U sendmail-8.12.2-1.rpm. I get these errors. error: failed dependencies libbind.so.0 is needed by sendmail-8.12.2.-1 smtpdaemon is needed by fetchmail-5.9.0-1 smtpdaemon is needed by mutt-1.2.5i-17 smtpdaemon is needed by diskcheck-1.0-1 what should i do. priyadarshi _____________________________________________________________

problem with quota

Hi! I would like to know where to check files owned by users in entire volumes I am administring quotas with webmin the problem I faced is one user had occupied too much disk space so I move the mails and deleted the id and recreated the id and restored the emails but now I dont know where the dead files are lying and now when I check qoutas through webmin I get the stray files with UID I dont know where to search for this dead files Please Help! rndc: connect: connection refused

my dns/bind file /etc/rc.d/init.d/named status does not show the status of whether dns is running or not. it gives rndc: connect: connection refused why? i feel that my DNS is working fine...
