Issue in RHEL Clustering in Failover Domain

Hi, I have setup Redhat cluster and Failover Domains. 1. How can I setup Apache as a Failover service ? 2. In that do I have to create one unique Virtual IP on both servers and share that IP as resource ? or Redhat Cluster suit will create that IP virtually ? According to a Friday statement on the website of Danish Standards (the Danish equivalent of the British Standards Institution, or BSI), the country's previous vote of "disapproval with comments" on the original draft of the OOXML standard has now been changed to a vote of "approval". The statement goes on to say that Danish Standards is changing its vote because "the 168 Danish comments have been adopted as changes to ISO/IEC DIS 29500 OOXML". Denmark's change of vote enables OOXML to pass one of two criteria to becoming a standard — that fewer than 25 percent of the large group of bodies "observing" the process disapprove. However, OOXML is still three short of the positive votes required amongst the 32 standards bodies "participating" in the process. Some of these are wavering, however. It is known that the technical committee advising Britain's BSI has changed its recommendation, meaning Britain may also change its vote from "no" to "yes". Multimedia and Bluetooth in Kubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy)

Hello All, Till Kubuntu 7.04, multimedia support for audio and video was added post installation by simply installing the package 'libxine-extracodecs' and 'libdvdcss'. Now in Kubuntu 7.10 gutsy, the package libxine-extracodecs is no longer present. The website https://wiki.kubuntu.org/GutsyGibbon/RC/Kubuntumentions a package called 'kubuntu-restricted-extras' to be installed for multimedia support. I had already installed 'libdvdcss' and 'w32codecs' but Kaffeine would not play avi and mp4 files. VLC player was playing these files but I could not control brightness and contrast in VLC. After installing the package 'kubuntu-restricted-extras' via apt, I am able to play these files in Kaffeine too. For bluetooth in Kubuntu 7.10, nothing has to be installed. simply run 'sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth start' and it will start the service and place the bluetooth icon in the system tray. The bluetooth adapter was the 'Enter' one which I had bought recently. I tried a nokia N82 phone. I double-clicked on the bluetooth icon in the taskbar and Konqueror opened up with an icon of a wired telephone handset and n82 as its label. To enter this I had to set a password in the mobile and in the popup window on computer. Then on clicking 'OBEX File Transfer' I got 2 folders C and E. C was the mobile's memory and E was the external 2 GB memory. Every time I tried to enter a folder, the phone would ask whether to accept the connection or not. To eliminate that, the computer was 'authorised' in the phone's settings. Connection speed is 45 to 50 Kbytes/sec only but this may be a limitation of the phone's hardware. should I use ubuntu 64 bit with a t5500 core2 intel processor?

hello, this is not really directly related to accessibility but perhaps may be a problem as such. I have a machine with intel core2 duo (sentrino ) t5500 processor with 1.6 ghz/2 specification. is this a genuan 64 bit processor? should I use ubuntu 64 bit with all t5500 core2 processors for optimul performance?

We will have the content for elementary class ready in 2008. I am sending you a draft of a textbook for class I (the file is bulky; hence split and send in two mails). [DOWNLOAD FROM URL ABOVE] At present, I am implementing this curriculum in one of the pilot schools. We have included Scratch as a programming language for students in Grade 3 & 4. Currently we are focusing on elementary classes and plan to scale it up in the next academic year. We are facing difficulties in getting the teachers familiar with open source. Most schools do not have a system administrator or even a regular Internet connection to get the regular updates and prefer an installable CD that gives them everything. But to a windows user, this does not appear intuitive and hence they are put off by it. I wanted to know about your experience with Goa schools? I have read that GCSP trained engineering students and teachers. Did these students help the local schools? We announced a training program for school teachers, but got poor response and therefore deferred it. Did you face similar problems? How did you deal with them? I myself have a Psychology background... and it has taken me several hours of work and reading up the forums to understand the installation and getting all the dependencies right. However, what is encouraging is that students have received the open source applications very well.
