[OT] Please suggest WiFi AP with WPA2 Enterprise option

I am looking for a WiFi AP that will connect to a RADIUS server for user auth. In the AP settings this shows up as WPA2 Enterprise. I have an old Linksys WRT54GS ver. 6 that has this feature. I am looking a model that is currently available in India. Please mention brand/model if you know of any AP that supports WPA2 Enterprise. TIA, -- Arun Khan

where in India can one find wimax antennas and equipment?

Hi There is a school in a remote location and I was wondering if that location could be connected via wimax or wireless mesh networking at a reasonable cost. The service provider there is asking too much money upfront for speeds as low as 2Mbps. Is there a possibility of a layman/do it yourself type to set up a wimax network for them so as to access the internet easily? Which are the unregulated frequencies for wimax/wimesh and which equipments would be needed? Can anybody help? At the Pabal school (vigyanashram.com) some company from bangalore had setup a communication link but unfortunately it was not sustainable maybe due to financial or logistic problems or it happenned when the technology was raw. USB Mobile Broadband Service

Hi, How do we address the issues of making it work the latest chipset provided by the Service Provider to make it work on Ubuntu Desktops. I mean whenever there is a new USB Mobile Broadband Service chipset available in Market how do we make them work in Ubuntu. Do i need to update my Desktop to the latest release every time ? For example : I use Tata Photon + with EC1260 chipset which works in Ubuntu 10.10 but when i try to use the latest Tata Photon + with EC152 chipset it does not work out of the box. Please suggest/guide further. Thanks Kaushal

Scientific Linux 6.0 is based on RHEL 6.0 with add-ons for scientific computing. FWIW, the Admin tools etc. are pretty much the same as in RHEL. There is no firm date for CentOS 6.0 yet; so you if you want to see what is in RHEL 6.0 (and don't have subscription) you can try this distro to get your hands wet.
