Qmail relaying

Hi all, I want to check if my qmail installation is relaying mails for other hosts. I do a simple check like telnet localhost 25 MAIL FROM:someone@nonlocal.com RCPT TO:someother@nonlocal.com {output is relaying allowed this is ok since it is a local telnet and I have 127.0.0.1:allow,RELAYCLIENT="" in /etc/tcp.smtp} Next I do a telnet 10.10.12.21 25 (my private IP) MAIL FROM:someone@nonlocal.com RCPT TO:someother@nonlocal.com {output is 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)} So can I conclude that the external mails are not being relayed? A C factorial Problem

HI friends I was experimenting with a common c factorial problem when I got a totally unexpected result. here is the program # include <stdio.h> main(){ int fact; int x; fact=factorial(6); printf ("%i\n",fff()); } int factorial(int x){ if(x>1) return(x*factorial(x-1)); } int fff () { ; } Naturally I was expecting 1 as the answer. But I am getting the answer 720 which is 6!. If I comment the 5th line fact=factorial(6); I am getting the expected result "1". The normal explanation for this is memory leak. Can anyone please tell me what is happening and are you too getting the same result. I am using redhat linux 7.3 with gcc 2.96 regards Abhijeet D Mhatre

files ending with ~

Hello, For some strange reason only files with ~work well. For example I edit modify.php as "vi modify.php" then save and exit (:wq), then there will be a file modify.php and modify.php~, modify.php is updated file, but when I visit using apache (on a local machine) then it used the other file modify.php~ and not modify.php. I thought this was some temporary problem so I rebooted, but that did not help. Any guesses why this is happening? "cat modify.php" and "cat modify.php~" display proper results. A filename~ file is always created whenever I change any file. Bye.

Hi, Is it possible to log to more than one files. I have many virtual hosts and I would like to log their activity in seperate files. I have already done this and it is working fine. Now I also want the logs to go in a single file along with the individual logs for each host. For example I log activity of virtualhost1.com in /home/virtualhost1.com/logs virtualhost2.com in /home/virtualhost2.com/logs. Now I want the same logs to go to var/log/httpd/virtuallogs as well. So, I can monitor the activity of the server. How can I do this. Thanks in advance. Bye.
