Hi to all linuxers:
I had a problem with hardware raid.
I have server system that configurations is:
motherboard(l440gx) comes with onboard scsi controller
and builtin intel ethernet card(eepro100).
using this i configured as a mail server on redhat
Linux 7.0.
Now i would like to implement Hardware raid using
s2100 raid controller on the same configuration .with
redhat 7.2.
So what steps i have to follow.
Anybody can .

Yes, we do. In fact, This card has been supported since Red Hat 6.0 (that's the version I started out with). sndconfig is easily able to auto-detect the card but it reports the card by it's processor's name (Ensonic something) instead of the brand name.

i was looking for a driver for my display card - its on-board (DFI AM33 MBoard).
any idea where i should start my search for this.
the dfi site offers drivers only for Windows.

Hi all!
This is Mallikarjun from Bangalore.In one of my
company i have to implement Hardware raid.
First we configured mail server using follwing
configuration:
pentium II with L440gx motherboard which is having
onboard SCSI controller .Here i don't find any
problems.(operating system is redhat7.0)
Now my company is recommending to go for Hardware raid
and they purchased Hardware raid controller i.e also
SCSI adaptec.Also i want to update to redhat 7.1 or
7.2.I need all of your's help.Here following are my
questions:
1. How to disable inbuilt scsi controller because iam
using seperate raid card.Is it necessary.
2. I want build raid level 1 i.e mirroring with 2 ibm
scsi harddisks.Incase if iget any problems while
implementing raid how should i trouble shoot myself or
to whom should i contact.
Can you reply the answers to followed questions as
early as possible.
