You may be able to avoid bank charges by risking your credit card
details online or paying paypal their commission.

Price per GB btwn slim box and x86. It's going to stay the same. But
the x86 has the advantage of a usb connection permitting many more
options like pendrive, and an ide i/f which (afaik) the slimbox
does not.

I always check facts before faffing.The slimbox is about 7 months
old (afair). And was not cost effective then at $200 (afair). It
isnt any better now.

Please read the thread. U seem to have missed the earlier discussion.
Power consumption and ready out of the box is the only advantage the
slimbox has.
