Dear all, I've a Samsung C3010S mobilephone.I've to access internet in laptop via blutooth. How is it possible.Can anybody help me. My Trusty Dell Latitude D820 works perfect since Ubuntu 8.04. I don't meddle with a lot of compiling or change a lot of system settings though. The only issue was multi-monitor setup. (Had no internet and needed to connect to a projector. No go) And the Tata Indicom has its own mind on when to work, though this has nothing to do with Dell, and I know there's a script / fix for the Tata Photon around.

My question is, how to avoid message recycling on gmail? or for a newbie what (not) to do to not recycle? Why bottom posting? My reasoning; some years ago google search for "linux" returned with mailing lists archives. reading the replies helped me a lot, if the mailing list etiquettes were followed on list it became easier to understand the progression of a problem from identification to the solution. even with outputs pasted in posts. This is not the case today and search strings land me up to some forum where quoting is automatically arranged. Why top posting is a problem? in case of newbie search string like "Installing internet with click9online mahim mumbai on linux" :-) searcher might land up in a confused system of posting and be more confused. I hope this thread will help us discuss everything about etiquettes here Note: for few times, unaware of the meaning, I top posted. hi, the KG group of companies - http://group.kgisl.com/ have a open source department - one of their initiatives is here: http://fossible.kgisl.com/ I happened to visit the group and find they have done extraordinary things using open source. For example there is PAC which does online processing storage and rendering of scans and xrays - they have implemented it in php/msyql and have several TB of data at the cost of about 5 lakhs whereas other hospitals have shelled out 1.2 crores for the same. College ERP, construction ERP and an enterprise wide ticket managing system tied to a zimbra server with things like right-click on a ticket to approve it, or right click on a person's name to send him an sms. The have used sms extensively - like staff can take attendence in class using their cellphones and sms the result to the server. There is an over reliance on php - but we are working to change that. The -user option for the find command.

Hello, I want to use the find command inside a directory which has user1, user2, user3 and user4 in the group to either look for files owned by user1 or user2 or user3 or find files not owned by user4. The -user option allows me only one name. I tried spaces, comas between user_names but the syntax is returned invalid. I can't find the not_owned option either. The -nouser option is for users not in the /etc/passwd file which is not my case. Checked out google too but cannot find any possibility for multi-user options in the same line. Even tried -user user1 -user user2 -user user3 together but not working. If I can write one 'find' line for all the users, I don't have to repeat it per user. Any tips or tricks? -- Regards, Rony.
