I have installed debian base systemand then installed the x-windows-system and fluxbox packages online.
The problem is that startx is not present on the system. After running dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86, the xserver starts up but crashes almost immediately.
apt-get install xbase-clients
I have spent almost the whole of sunday on this andam really at the end of my tether.
