Also note that there are better wiki software avaliable than MediaWiki. Moinmoin is an excellent and safe alternative as PHP based wikis are known to have security issues.
I second that.
What kind of security issues or vulnerabilities are you talking about? If there are vulnerabilities, then why is Wikipedia running on MediaWiki?
