I am using Red Hat Linux 9. I want to connect to internet using my re= liance phone (LG LST -340E). I used the rconnect-cmdline-1.0, a tar file fr= om reliance website. I even tried using KPPP. I tried using many possibilit= ies, but get the message NO MODEM DETECTED. When I use wvdial, I get the me= ssage NO CARRIER FOUND. I have to use windows only for internet and then co= me back to linux. I request detailed steps for configuring my phone as a mo= dem on linux. I even tried searching the archives but could not get help fr= om there.
