I m using Fedora Core 2, I have dial up net access using the reliance mobile ( ftdi usb driver) I m facing an irritating problem- whenever i start any application when the internet is connected the new application takes a lot of time to start up (whereas the older already open apps work perfectly fine) and as soon as i disconnect suddenly all the apps that i had clicked pop up My machine has 394MB RAM so i don't think it is a problem with memory.
