Eg, A remote client connects to a server. The server has no interface to disconnect the client. I do a netstat and get the IP address and socket of the client. Now I want to disconnect the client, so I want to issue something like $ killsocket <remoteip> <remotesocket>. Is there anyway by which I can do this ?
checkout iptables, & maybe set rules to stop/start access to that ip/socket/port. Svaksh
