Hello all,
I wonder if this is the appropriate forum to post my query. I'm Linux newbie, very much interested to learn and share about Linux. I have heard about RHCE certification being one of the hottest in 2006. Seeking advice if joining a coaching class at RH authorised centre is MANDATORY which I think charges quite a bit. I wish to know if any of you is RHCE certified but gained the training elsewhere thru a friend/ Linux expert in Mumbai at comparatively lower cost. If so, please let me know the contact person.
Thanks in advance AA
<sarcasm> Forget all that. The best way to pass RHCE is to find an institute where they'll sell you all the problems that'll appear in the exam you appear for and pass with 100% marks. It isn't difficult to find such an institute either. </sarcasm>
Hi AA.
Don't worry too much about certifications. You should be looking to gain knowledge and expertise. Look for an expert who can teach you linux in a very lucid way. Install linux at home an experiment on it. That IMHO is the best way.
Remember, the RHCE cert will only give you an interview call. How you fare in the interview and most importantly in you job, depends entirely on your expertise. All the best!
