hi all these days there is one error in my system which keep on scrolling whenever i try to install any new rpm. error is something related to hdc on which my linux is installed. ########### hdc error {uncorrectable error} LBA 242674 error dma_intr device error etc........... ######### even when i am trying to check rpm database using db_verify command its again giving errors that database error. now i don know its something wrong with disk or rpm database. can any of you please help me in recovering from this .
