Both of the above have 640x480 pixel resoluion@15fps. similar
i am not sure if this is really possible (640*480*15*3(colours)*8) assuming 1 byte for each colour... is simply not possible with USB 1.1, where BW is 12Mbits/sec. the best i got through USB was 6 fps.
That is the raw video. These devices use some sort of compression (mjpeg afaik). I am absolutely certain that they do 640x480@15fps but not 24bit color, only 16bit.
resolution webcam would be good but not essential (i will settle for CIF /SIF).
