Hi guys,
2gb partition which i have set aside and install win95/98. I can see the partition from linux as fat 16. But booting from floppy does not show this
[snip] go to the CLI on ur Linux box. run cfdisk, this is a curses based interface for the fdisk command.
Now check ur partitions and see if vrythin is right. u could dos format the partition in Linux itself. 1st in cfdisk change the partition type, save ur changes and then exit.
Once u have done that... bash# mkfs.msdos /dev/hd**
This 1 shoudl work fine in most cases, even if this 1 doesn't work out then delete the windoZe partition and create a new partition after havin booted from a DOS bootable floppy.

partition and i cannot even access it. Fdisk in dos (floppy boot) shows 8gb as a single partition while fdisk in linux shows all my partition /boot, swap, /root and fat16.
I have not even formatted the fat16 partition. Can i format it as fat16 from linux? then probably i can install win95/98 and create a label in lilo. Anybody gone through this path before ?

Noel.
