We (Shastri and me) are trying to convert one school in Dahisar (Vidya Mandir) to GNU/Linux. But the progress is slow. We can sure use more hand for the work.
Prof. Jitendra had addressed the parents there, and the response was overwhelming. They were full of questions and they were willing to try something new.
Also, a very important point came up was of Indian language computing. Even school management was willing to supoort the GNU/Linux in whatever way they can.
Over all, the signs are positive. Only thing needed is hard work on our side to bring in more ppl.
