I am using Redhat 9.0 and the kerne is 2.4.
How do I uninstall DHCP client ?
rpm -qa | grep dhcp rpm -e { WHAT EVER DHCP PACKAGES WERE LISTED ABOVE } Use SuSE for heaven's sake if you don't want to bother with something this simple.
I don't see how using SuSE will automagically solve his problem. The problem is with DHCP and not the RedHat distro.
