i downloaded the apt-proxy 1.3 (there were some dep. prob. for 1.9), anyways i am not getting it to work. can u please send me the /etc/apt-proxy and the source.lists files ? thank you.

I use apt-proxy from Sid all the time for about 30 or so machines in IIT-B. Works really well. The older 1.3x version seems to be in Woody and the newer 1.9x version in Sid. It should get into Sarge in due course. For now you can try using the one in Sid. Sorry I have no experiance with debarchiver, would love to hear from people who do.
