I have a Lenovo and two Compaqs that came with FreeDos -- the last Compaq being only a few months old. That said, all their high end notebooks (don't know why they call it that; the "low end" ones work well enough) come with Windows pre-installed. I had heard rumours that Lenovo will let you order a custom laptop without an OS if you have the patience to call them and bug them about it. I haven't tried that though.
