*snip* For doing that you need development packages installed. If you have compiled and installed the see to it if they are available in the include and library paths while compling mp3 blaster. Inclide thos paths in /etc/ld.so.conf (its a simple text file) and run ldconfig.
This generally does the trick. A simpler way would be to use binary packages.
