yes it does if I catch hold of their neck and make them understand the difference.
The only solution to your problem would be to wear a board saying 'My name is X pronounced X'
No thank you, i dont carry a board round the neck ... I prefer the "catch hold of the neck" methodology.
(even then dimwits like me might call you Kopeel coz we don't read something right in front of our noses)
