Hi,
I have a DG+Squid setup on CentOS5
I have been trying to block streaming video but unsuccessful.
I have the following line in my dansguardian.conf
# Authentication files location bannediplist = '/etc/dansguardian/lists/bannediplist' exceptioniplist = '/etc/dansguardian/lists/exceptioniplist' exceptionsitelist = '/etc/dansguardian/lists/exceptionsitelist' bannedextensionlist = '/etc/dansguardian/lists/bannedextensionlist' bannedmimetypelist = '/etc/dansguardian/lists/bannedmimetypelist'
bannedmimetypelist has: application/x-shockwave-flash application/x-shockwave-flash2-preview application/futuresplash image/vnd.rn-realflash audio/mpeg audio/x-mpeg audio/x-pn-realaudio audio/x-wav video/mpeg video/x-mpeg2 video/acorn-replay video/quicktime video/x-msvideo video/msvideo application/gzip application/x-gzip application/zip application/compress application/x-compress application/java-vm
and /etc/dansguardian/lists/bannedextensionlist has a massive list of extensions, the one provided by DG by default.
But this configuration is not working, the desktops can still access videos.
Any help on what I may have missed how how to block videos ?
Thank you in advance.
