Hi,
I have 192k Kbps shared bandwidth in my office. During night time we have full bandwidth available. i.e it is as good as dedicated line.
Incoming line is terminated to our router, from there to firewall.
MY problem: [night time when full 192Kbps bandwidth is available]
we use VoIP solution provided by net4india to make international calls. Whenever we start browsing or email send/receive , voice quality is lowered because of less bandwidth available.
According to my knowledge, Audio traffic is always given preference, or UDP traffic is given priority over TCP traffic.
How can I control priority of usage of bandwidth by applications or even by IP address [My Cisco voIP box has IP address assigned]?
I am sure I can do it on my firewall, but the problem is "Firewall is single floppy based". So I can not do any R&D on that box.
I wanted to upgrade my firewall and install some bandwidth related softwares.
Anybody have better solutions ? :)
