Avoid Pacenet like the plague. Linux support has to be enabled and its for packages with speed 64 kbps and above. Thats discrimination. Its reliability is also going down (maybe due to rains). I don't remember connecting for more than 6-7 hours and there's an outage almost daily. -- Rohit V. Bhute http://rvbhute.blogspot.com/
Hi rohit...
Firstly, There is a simple workaround to make it work with any package on linux. i've been using their connection since before they even offered linux support. If you need help with that, feel free to contact me even. On the reliability front, i agrr, the rains have messed them up, But a few simple shell scripts can make sure wour downloads arent interrupted. Uptime for sure is definitely better than some of the others that my friends are using. Plus, a little tweaking gives be sustained 8 KBp/s on my 64kbps line. Also, they give you a public ip, and ping times are usually pretty good, low latency even. Do check it out to be sure, and dont dismiss it soo easily.
