It is available in India at the price of Rs 37,000 onwards.
Thanks for the price points; are they for the Vista version or also the Linux version. Rs. 37K seems way out of line for the Linux system with only 4GB SSD.
I have seen a WinXP Home version (not Vista) out in Dubai with 1GB RAM, 1.8 GHz VIA C7 CPU for around AED 2000 (1AED = Rs. 13).
AED 2000 x 13 = Rs. 26,000/-. Today at Croma I found a new player in the mini section. It was a Lenovo 10" with Atom processor and costing Rs. 26,000/-. Buying in India will let you avail of the warranty. There is another HCL 7" tablet version costing about 35K. Its display is mounted on a pivot and can be rotated and flattened and it is also a touch screen.
