Hi,
I want to install FC3 but I wanted it to be done online. I was not able to find anything on "http://fedora.redhat.com/" which can guide me to install it online. If anybody of you know how to do that, then please tell me how to proceed.
I suppose by online you mean, over the network.
I haven't done such a thing with FC? but upto RH9?, there used to be a floppy image for a network install (FTP/HTTP/NFS etc.). You will need a separate "server" machine running one or more of the above servers. On the server system the *whole* distro needs to be copied into the directroy structure of the relevant server you wish to use.
On the install machine you will need to enter the URI to the "server" system. The installer takes it from there.
Under the images directory on CD1 there is a boot.iso file. Perhaps it provides the network install functionality. You will need to burn it on a CD to create an installer boot CD.
