In our consulting work, we have seen, specially in software, younger people just walking out without notice and a manpower turnover ratio of 100%-150% per year among the younger employees and seen it dropping to as low as 25% for those in 35-40 bracket. Above 45, the turnover ratio drops to 15%. (These from our experiance, not from published data)
I will have to agree here. Numbers never lie!
