Anurag, sometime back, announced that there are efforts to ensure reliability of the line, with MTNL as soon as possible. I have quoted the same below.

BTW, at the time of writing this, I can access the wiki. (So, quick, access the wiki as soon as you get and mailman, quickly post it ;) )
