Thanks for the input. I haven't heard of using DSL Routers in Bridge mode, and will read up on this topic. If this is something that I could configure on the router without having to talk to my ISP (seems unlikely), then this might prove useful.
From a few queries that I made during the day, I've learnt that some ISPs may
provide private IP addresses.
