When I try to burn the images to CD, however, k3b tells me that the file "seems not be a usable CD image". Can't figure out what is happening here. Does Bittorent wait for all the images to be downloaed before rejigging the files into usable ISO images?
Until the bt client says that the downloads are complete, do not imagine so. BT creates large files, and then replaces their content, IIRC.
