Hello Luggers, I am using Technoinfosys sbs 2004 server with fetchmail on it to download the mails for all users having pop and imap email accounts,my problem arises when i have to configure hotmai account on it.Most of the users use hotmail account. As if i know hotmail uses http protocol and port 80 for mail download. If anybody has done it please pass on the information to this list so others like me can benefit fom it.
I'm not sure if you want a tool to fetch the hotmail accounts to the local accounts created on the SBS server. If yes, then look at this post as I think it may help.

The strange this is that I searched for this article using Google. ;-)
If you're asking about how to configure the Outlook Express clients to directly access their hotmail accounts, then you need to enable IP forwarding / NAT using iptables....
Currectly the SBS server only enables a Squid Proxy server for users to use their browsers to surf the net... So they could use IE or Netscape on the PC to check their hotmail account.
Hope I was able to help.
