lets go for the record ;-) I can think of several reasons for the 28 year restriction:

among them:

1. junior admin is 27 years old - so senior should be older 2. boss wants to get his 24 year old daughter married off 3. a useless relation of the boss is trying to get in and he is 27 years old 4. company has a policy for minimum age for each rank 5. all the existing employees are below 28 - boss wants to bring in outside blood without annoying the insiders 6. it was a typo in the original
