Seems like you have not compiled module /dev/agpgart into the kernel
. Run
kernel configuration ( make menuconfig or make xconfig (requires x))
and
in section character-devices selected /dev/agpgart.

doesnt look like it, /sbin/modprobe agpgart returns happily and cat /proc/modules | grep agpgart shows expected entry...
