Most graphics tablets have a mouse compatible operation so they should be detected and configured as standard mice.
additional features like pressure sensing would need a driver/module. Try to lookup on the grapphire site and confirm if they support GNU/Linux and provide the modules for the same.
BTW: how much does it cost? I have seen some other small tablet worth 1800..
