I have MTNL TriBand DSL and got the following: $ telnet mtnl.net.in smtp Trying 203.94.243.88... telnet: connect to address 203.94.243.88: Connection refused

Perhaps, the smart host SMTP server is smtp.mtnl.net.in?

With smtp.mtnl.net.in. i get Unable to connect to remote host: Connection timed out although dns resolves the name With vsnl i get a 521 error as they do not permit relay.

does anyone know if MTNL permits relaying.
