oracle works on most gnu/linux distros, and they officially support RedHat, some version (AFAIK).
When i installed oracle 10g it said Redhat Enterprise Server 4 was officially supported as well as SUSE server edition(dont remeber the version). Oracle itself has a lot of good documentation on installing and configuring under linux.
