No problems with 2.6.7, .8 and .10 on debian woody + backports.org and sarge. LG cd writer and sony dvdwriter. Havent burned a DVD yet. Have to make a backup of pcq sarge dvd and will test on Sunday.
Generally LG cd drives work well. Samsung has always given problems after a yr or so. Same with Samsung harddrives.
