Hello,
Similar thing I heard from other with different hardware.
Is there issue of drivers with Ubuntu 14.04 or Is there something I
missed?
I haven't heard of such a thing. Infact, more driver support was added in 14.04.
This was a common problem with previous versions of Ubuntu while upgrading from old version to new. So I always used to go with a fresh installation.
I have upgraded my machine from 12.04 to 14.04 without any problems. The entire version upgrade process in Ubuntu has really improved since 10.04. This is my personal opinion.
