All of us who use the mailing list have either come accross the nuisance of top-posting, or have been *scolded* by others on the list for top-posting and other non-compliance of email etiquettes. But I guess it is better we understand/explain WHY we need to follow these guidelines.
I follow up on the mails from the mailing list once every 4/5 days. If top posting becomes a norm, it would be a pain to first scroll down to the bottom of the mail and then scroll up to catch the thread. I prefer reading books, newspaper, websites and emails from top to bottom.
