Use the DevPaks available at http://devpaks.org/ for Dev-C++. Better yet, use the web-update feature from the Tools menu. It will give you the list of available DevPaks from the mirror you select.

thanks for the info. I eventually torchered google into revealing. I found a great howto on the subject here: http://dropline.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1827
