Is anyone out here using a biometric access control device? I'd reckon that the simplest/most popular ones are thumb or fingerprint based.
Say If I want a standalone device which can be used as a lock (or in conjunction with) is that possible? The only one I saw in the market was supporting Win platform (for pc access). So does it have a backup key? in case the batteries fail?
I may be wrong here, but someone on this list had mentioned a long time ago that they program such devices.
