Hi,
was the /var/log/messages opened with root permissions i opened it using rescue mode.
was the /var/log/messages opened with root permissions
i opened it using rescue mode.
Under rescue mode the /var/log/message is diffrent from original booting partition Check the /mnt/sysimage/var/log/message
