There are around 4/5 indian guys working on various Google SoC projects like Ubuntu, Horde, GNOME etc.
9 indians afaik (that is indians from india). afaik all have completed their projects, and at the proposal stage one of them was acclaimed the best in world for having the most projects accepted.
