Go for older people (I have grey hair) empower them. Actually it makes sense. The younger ones are brash, unstable and change jobs too fast. Besides, a person nearer to 30 will have additional practical experiance and use it to solve business problems faster and more efficiently.

Sob sniffle. That makes me feel over the hill and under the earth. Not a major problem as long as u keep reading heavily. In fact indepth knowledge of legacy systems keeps u in great demand.
